    Construction of the Liquid Cooling Heat Sink for Inverter

  • Original language description

    The main objective of this article is specification of the heat sink. In this paper is performed analysis and design of the liquid heat sinks depending on construction of internal cooling channels. Design prototypes of the heat sink were created in a 3DCAD program. These models were transferred through SAT format into multi-physic simulation software. In this software we set physical characteristics of the 3D model and cooling medium. Next we defined power loss activity to the individual power semiconductor mounted on the heat sink. After this we performed simulations of the thermal fields of heat sinks. On the basis of these simulations results, we choose suitable construction for the liquid cooling heat sink. Gained results, which are contained in the article, are used for the non-traditional frequency convertor construction.
