    CFD Analysis of Temperature Rise of Power Transformer

  • Original language description

    Paper deals with one of the possibility how the CFD analysis can be used for solution of temperature rise of selected design parts of oil-cooled power transformer. 3D Conjugate heat transfer is performed to determine the flow, temperature distributions and also the evaluation of heat transfer coefficient on important parts of power transformer. This paper also presents an investigation of the accuracy of the CFD from the view of applied simplifications. Outputs of CFD analysis serve also for detailed analysis and comparison to theoretical assumptions used in design process.
