Parallelization of fatigue damage calculation
Original language description
This paper deals with the parallelization of an existing fatigue simulator - PragTic. It contains the description of the former version inefficiency, parallelization implementation, scalability testing of the parallelized PragTic, conclusion and outlook. The parallelization is done at the node level, but the parallelization at the plane level is also discussed in this paper later. Scalability was tested by running a simple model and large, real world example. The paper contains several tables and graphs, representing these results. © Civil-Comp Press, 2017.
