    Power quality analysis of grid connected photovoltaic inverter

    This paper describes the behaviour of photovoltaic power plant inverter firmware on flicker level and reactive power at Point of Common Coupling in low voltage distribution system. During routine measurement of PQ the photovoltaic power plant was suspicious as a source of flicker in the distribution system. During PQ measurement using the common PQ analyser the distribution system operator could not identified the reason of high flicker. Using a tailored power quality analyser authors identified pulsed active power delivery during low sun radiation. Much smooth active power delivery was identified after the firmware upgrade.
