Design of Fuzzy Controller for Simple Inverted Pendulum
Original language description
This paper deals with the design of a fuzzy controller for the stabilization of a simple inverted pendulum on the cart in the upper equilibrium. The Mamdani type fuzzy logic controller was used for this purpose. The paper is aimed at the design of the control structure based on a normalized controller with individually determined scale factors. The paper lists possible methods of calculation of the scale factors. Also, it gives a detailed description of the particular chosen method. The method bases on LQR gains and represents a key part of the proposed approach. The controller functionality was verified in offline simulation and compared with the LQR controller.
