Original language description
The article deals with monitoring of the contact force of a pantograph with respect to the issues which are involved in monitoring of the contact force of pantographs of moving electric traction vehicles (ETVs). It proposes technical equipment for continuously checking the intensity of the contact force of pantographs which is exerted on the contact wire and for checking the uplift of the contact wire during the passage of an ETV. Thus obtained information must be transferred into the railway transportation control system and into the infrastructure system. These unmeasured values are processed by the system and evaluated by the electrical dispatcher. From the values obtained, it is possible to determine whether the pantograph complies or does not comply with the standards. (C) 2022 IEEE.
