Some aspects of cutless big scope blasting as a rock burst prevention
Original language description
Rock bursts in Ostrava-Karviná hard-coal basin are still one from biggest safety risks. One from active preventive rock burst measures widely used is cutless big scope blasting in overburden rocks. This measure used before longwall face brings better caving when face will move to the position of blasting area and also realise potential energy from rock massif. Mentioned blasting is evaluated on the base of seismic energy realised from blasting. In Karviná region was investigated different seismic energyin the period 1993-1999: total emission of seismic energy, seismic energy due to rock bursts and seismic energy emission during big scope blasting. The results of these investigations are described in the paper.
