An ultrathin cobalt wedge was produced on Au buffer and then covered with a silver wedge which slopes are perpendicular to each other and subsequently capped with a gold 8 nm thick layer [1]. The thickness of the Co wedge, d, increases from 0 to 2nm withthe gradient of 2*10-7, whereas the thickness hAg of the Ag wedge increases from 0 to 6nm with the gradient of 1.5*10-6. Four magneto-optical quantities were measured: the polar Kerr rotations and elipticitiy's for the incident s- and p-polarization using incident beam wavelength of 640nm. Analytical formulas are proposed for magneto-optical parameters determination in such structured system using model based on rigorous 4x4 matrix algebra for description of light reflection from multilayer systems. Hysteresis curves measured increasing hAg, for defined Co thicknesses, showed shift of magneto-optical parameters changes in relation magnetic ones such as remnanence, coercivity field.
