The object of resolved project is aimed to tectonics of Variscan foreland - Karviná sub-basin (Upper Silesian Coal Basin). Most significant role in Variscan accretion wedge thrusting played oblique tectonic ramps. They correspond to subequatorial transverse tectonic zones.
