Original language description
The contribution is aimed at description of the new method for measurement of the typical quality characteristics of abrasive water jet cutting. Both the theoretical and experimental works were performed finding out the relationships among parameters ofapplied water jets, properties of cut materials and the output parameters of cutting. The model is prepared based on measurement of the angle of the tangent to the kerf forehead declination regarding the axis of the jet entering the cut material for arbitrary parting cut. Presented method of the tangent declination determination becomes essential for investigation of quality of the walls of cut.
