The Advantage of Using information on Engineering-geological Environment in Land-use Planning in Area of Lhotka, Hoštálkovice and Přívoz
Original language description
The presented study deals with the possibilities of assessing the distribution of the engineering-geological zones in relation to the current built-up area, from 1946 and the inter-period in order to understand the trends of changes of those characteristics. All this can be used for the needs of land-use planning as the stated zones in a sense represent generalized geological environments with quasi-similar characteristics as for the foundation engineering. The study was carried out in a selected part of the City of Ostrava and its close proximity in the map sheet 15 43 04. The obtained results showed a characteristic spatial distribution of the typical zones with the description of the basic conditions of the environments.
