The paper is concerned with the essence, content, significance and benefits of talent management and its processes, and a possibility of information and communications technology (ICT) use in the process of its application. In the second part the articlebrings both information on the survey the role of which was to identify the level and quality of talent management used by organizations in one of the Czech Republic regions including ICT utilization in the process of its application and it presents recommendations for a wider and more quality application of talent management approach not only in the Czech practice, but also in other developing, emerging and transition economies which appear to be in a similar situation.
