The area of the former coal mine Ležáky-Most, which is being turned into Lake Most by the process of hydric land reclamation, is located in the central part of the North-Bohemian brown coal basin, north of the town of Most, and south from the plant premises of Unipetrol Orlen Group, Ltd. From the south-west, south and east side the quarry is surrounded by denudated volcanic elevations of Czech Central Mountains - Hněvín, Špičák a Červený vrch. Ležáky-Most Quarry covers an area of 1264 hectares. Of thistotal, Lake Most will occupy 311.1 hectares. The stability of water capacity in reservoir Lake Most how about consequently altitude its surface is in his essence dependent on character of climate, plus as well on weather conditions in solving region. Itis necessary better recognize these influence to proposition model as well as them quantify. Our intention is to create a model capable of predicting the lake water level behavior.
