    Virtual Reality in Mining Processes Control

  • Original language description

    Mining production in underground spaces will be in the future realized by intelligent robotic systems without human presence. The control of these processes will be based on application of autonomous cooperative units that can be put together to manage the production goals. As the mining production is connectes to natural raw materials deposits, where the process environment models and activities cannot be fully determined, the human supervision will be necessary. Classical process control, with the external system description of the dynamic behavior will be changed by the use of holonic systems that can be will suited to responsive manufacturing settings, where the manufacturing processes regularly changes. Similarly for the process visualization theclassical methods - SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems will be changed by more sophisticated technology given by tools of virtual reality.
