Optimization of building site category determination in an undermined area prior to and after exhausting coal seams
Original language description
The intensity of undermining effects on the existing and planned engineering work is currently examined on the basis of the so-called building site categories. These are determined according to the prognostic parameters of ground deformation (inclination, radius of curvature and linear unit deformation). The parameter values are calculated prior to exploitation of a particular section of a deposit within mining development work. Therefore, such determined building site categories are mere assumptions and the real subsidence and impact on the engineering work may differ. This paper deals with a method of evaluating real ground deformation parameters in two localities in the Czech part of the Upper-Silesian Basin on the grounds of regular levelling measurements in a subsidence basin. Comparing the prognostic and real building site categories, significant differences in the surface extent have been identified. The methodology of real building site category determination may be used for co
