  • Original language description

    The work objective was to study the behaviour of nickel and silicon with nickel silicides at long-term temperature annealing (72 hours at the temperatures of 900 and 1000 oC). For this purpose diffusion joints of nickel with nickel silicides (25, 33 a 39at. % Si) were created by means of resistance and electron beam welding processes. The procedures of determination of diffusion characteristics from concentration profiles measured by X-ray microanalyzer after Si diffusion in Ni-Si system used up to noware described in the paper: the Matano-Boltzmann method, the Wagner relation and newly developed methods based on the utilization of thermal potentials in the solution of diffusion equation with non-stationary interface boundary will be presented informatively.
