Original language description
Investigation of control rolled rails possibilities is our long-term research aim. Knowledge of distribution of the thermal and deformation field during hot rolling is necessary condition for design of correct mode of controlled rolling. Computer simulation is a perfect tool for recognition of thermal and deformation field distribution. Boundary and initial condition entries are a key point to compile a computer model. Therefore, experiments leading to the calculation of thermal conductivity ratio andcoefficient of heat transfer were done. Physical simulation of rails rolling was performed on laboratory rolling mill TANDEM after it. Influence of finishing temperature on final microstructure of rails steels was searched.
