Original language description
The basic metalurgical problem of continuous casting of the steel is heat removal out from liquid steel. The heat is removed by direct cooling and by indirect cooling. In the primary cooling zone is the main target of control the sufficient outlet depthand strength of the skin of casting in the mould.
