Original language description
Acicular ferrite (AF) being intragranular austenite decomposition product is attributed to fine grained interlocking arrangement of plates growing by displacive mechanism. Upper bainite (B) is formed at the same temperature as AF, however its plates (packets) are nucleated at A-grain boundaries what results into a competition of both products being discussed in paper.
