    The activity and stability of calcined hydrotalcite-like compounds in N2O decomposition.

    Catalytic decomposition of N2O has been carried out on the calcined hydrotalcite-like compounds. Combination of two transition metals caused either an increase (Co-Mn catalyst) or a decrease (Ni-Mn catalyst) in N2O conversion. The phenomenon is likely connected with Mn different oxidation states.

    Katalytický rozklad N2O byl sledován na kalcinovaných sloučeninách typu hydrotalcitu. Kombinace dvou přechodných kovů způsobila jednak vzrůst konverze N2O (katalyzátor Co-Mn), jednak její pokles (katalyzátor Ni-Mn). Jev pravděpodobně souvisí s různými oxidačními stavy manganu..
