A study of the catalytic activity of calcined Ni/Mg/Al (Mn) hydrotalcites for N2O decomposition.
Original language description
Mixed oxide based catalysts prepared by the thermal decomposition of Ni/Mg/Al (Mn) hydrotalcite-like compounds were studied in N2O decomposition.. The best result was obtained over Ni-Al containing catalyst (79 % conversion at WHSV=60 l.g-1.h-1). Catalytic activity of samples containing either Ni or Mn cations was high, but the simultaneous presence of both these transition metal cations in the catalyst caused a considerable decrease of N2O conversion and also a decrease of the catalysts surface area.
