Multiscale nature of gas-liquid systems
Original language description
The purpose of this contribution is to outline a rough framework for a general decomposition scheme of the particular phenomena occurring in typical bubble mixtures, according to their length and time scales. This is the first and necessary step in the process of exploration of multiscale systems, enabling for proceeding further, via evaluating the coupling of the processes involved, to finish with a simplified synthetic model highlighting the key mechanisms involved in the dynamics of the multiphase mixture.
