Original language description
The paper is devoted to the evaluation of basic materials properties attained in Al2O3 tool ceramic. The determination of indentation fracture toughness values KIC, fracture surface energy and fatigue durability at room temperature were carried out. Theindentation fatigue was made by repeated indenting on the same surface point of tested materials. Vickers hardness tests were applied.

Czech description
Článek je věnovaný hodnocení základních materiálových vlastností dosažených u řezné keramiky Al2O3. Byla stanovena indentační lomová houževnatost KIC, lomová povrchová energie a únavová životnost za pokojové teploty. Indentační lomová houževnatost byla provedena opakovanou indentací na stejné místo povrchu testovaného materiálu.
