    Study of Ti alloys was performed on TiNb and Ti-Al-Nb alloys. The microstructure characteristics were investigated by means of light and scanning electron microscopes and the microhardness measurements. The Ti, Al and Nb contents were determined using scanning electron microscope JEOL JSM-6490LV equiped with EDS INCA X-ACT probe. The X-ray analysis proved that TiNb rod prepared by electron beam melting has single crystal microstructure. The phase analysis of TiNb alloy was realised in austenitic state,martensite phase was not observed. Alloy based on Ti-Al-Nb was prepared from Ti and Al powder and a Nb wire by mechanical alloying in ball planetary mill. The Ti-Al-Nb powder mixture was milled during 72 hours with rate of 150 rpm. The particle size of powder alloy prepared was determined using the laser particle sizer ANALYSETTE 22 COMPACT, FRITSCH.
