EVALUATION AND COMPARISON OF MICROSTRUCTURAL CHARACTERISTICS OF ACICULAR FERRITE AND GRANULAR BAINITE
Original language description
In paper two steel are analyzed with the same chemical composition practically. Firstly, attention has been devoted to acicular ferrite, its microstructural parameters, substructure, fractographical characteristics and hydrogen response. Further acicularferrite properties have been compared with similar ones detected in M/A (martensite/austenite) constituent being part of granular bainite microstructure in as rolled condition. Acicular ferrite alike the M/A constituent are responsible for final steel properties
