Methodology for application of dynamic simulation in metallurgical processes
Original language description
The paper presents methodology used for application of dynamic simulation which will simplify the activities, increase the efficiency and reduce the risk of unsuccessful preparation and realization of simulation projects in metallurgical processes. Dynamic simulation represents a suitable tool for analysing various alternatives how to change metallurgical processes, for verifying the realization impacts of these changes before their implementation and for selection of the most suitable solution. However, metallurgical processes are rather complex. That is why the methodology is based on combination of dynamic simulation tools and project management techniques. In case of dynamic simulation, classical computer simulation method formed the basis of thisapproach. As far as project management is concerned, the project life cycle was the fundamental element in this case.
