Effect of microwave radiation on materials in iron metallurgy - experimental results
Original language description
The utilization of electromagnetic radiation has recently been widely studied in many manufacturing sectors. This article primarily discusses the results of experimental measurements, which were made at the department of metallurgy. Experiments were focused on the influence of this radiation on materials in iron industry, for example the heating rate of different materials and the possibility of iron oxides reduction in microwave field. There are also briefly described procedures of measurement and modifications, which were made on the microwave oven.
