Influence of steel flow in ceramic filter on its cleanness
Original language description
The paper summarises the results of investigation of influence of character of flow and degree of steel deoxidation on efficiency of ceramic filters made on oxidic basis. Two filters of different designed were used when flowing molten steel had differentvalues of Reynolds number, which corresponded to laminar and turbulent flow. Efficiency of filtration was determined on the basis of fouling of field of vision and also in accordance with the standard DIN 50302.
