Original language description
Paper presents results of structure investigations new commercial prepared modify magnesium alloy MgAl8MnCa based on AZ91D alloy. This alloy exhibits good castability, corrosion resistance and mechanical properties at room temperature, similar or betterto AZ91D. Paper presents results of investigations of structure magnesium alloy MgAl8MnCa with addition Sr. The light microscopy and SEM for examinations were used. SEM microanalysis show distribution of elements in phases and plane element maps are presented.
