Verification of correct adjustment methodology for high-temperature thermal analysis of large samplex
Original language description
In the technology of casting and solidification of steel are the most critical parameters solidus temperature and liquidus temperatures. Accurate knowledge of the liquidus temperature (TL) is particularly important for the temperature overheating of steel before casting. Solidus temperature (TS) is then associated with a particular course of its solidification process. So, knowledge of these critical temperatures is not only important for the correct adjustment of the technology of steel casting, but also for the accurate setting of the conditions during the solidification of steel. For example, a thermal analysis method allows determining these temperatures. Currently, the most widely used thermal analysis methods are thermogravimetry (TG), differential thermal analysis (DTA) and differential scanning calorimetry method (DSC). In the past, a method of direct thermal analysis based on direct measurement of the sample temperature changes especially during controlled heating/ was widely
