Mechanical properties of 316L stainless steel used in biomedicine: effect of hydrogenation
Original language description
The comparative analysis of mechanical properties was performed for AISI 316L stainless steel in non-hydrogenated and hydrogenated state. The strain analysis during tensile tests using Vic 2D image correlation software was carried out on the cylinder tensile specimens. Hydrogenated alloy showed higher yield strength and ultimate tensile stress.
