Original language description
The Air Quality Management System for the Olomouc City is an active and complex decision support system which brings together GIS, mathematical modelling and supercomputers. In cooperation with The Municipality of the Olomouc city it is applied to managethe air quality in the city. The system is able to assess the air pollution situation in long term, to identify sources of excessive air pollution; to effectively manage pollution load reductions, as well as to promptly respond to administration requirements. The results of modelling together with provided measurements are displayed online in form of an interactive map of air pollution in the city.
