Thesis deals with the effect of the charge, inoculation and nodulizing on the quality of the ductile iron used in the manufacture of the centrifugally cast rolls, as called filling cast iron, which forms the core and the pins of this massive castings. Under laboratory conditions were tested different variants of the chemical composition of the initial melt in combination with various ratios of the inoculant and the nodulizer
