    Properties of Ti-Cr18/Ni10 clad metal under dynamic loading

  • Original language description

    Weld of Ti-clad Cr/Ni was studied after one and/or double heat treatment-HT (600 oC/1.5 h/air) under conditions of Charpy test, SSC test in tensile and in 3 point bent during H2S exposition (in accord with NACE standard). The found transition temperatures were compared with results reached in case of Ti clad C-Mn steel after the same two HT types. After double 2 HT, transition temperature was shifted by 20 oC on the level of -60 oC and was also by 20 oC lower than this one for Ti clad C-Mn steel. After double HT SSC revealed threshold level at 40 MPa and bars under bent-bend were reliable without failure at 160 MPa. For higher defectiveness after 1 HT was high Fe2Ti portion responsible.
