The article is deal with the differences between Czech cohesion regions after year 1990. There are drew up the basic Czech population and spatial regions differencess in the preface. The spatial hierarchy of the cohesion regions is completed about its eight spatial units. There are those cohesion regions (NUTS 2) in the Czech Republic: Central Bohemia (CBM), Central Moravia (CMR), Moravia Silesia (MS), North-East (NE), North-West (NW), Prague (PRG), South-East (SE) and South-West (SW). We are research their ageing proces during last 18 years. The typology is given weigh of the children´s and oldest component. Our principal main is to group the all 8 cohesion regions on the Czech territory to the different population ageing groups: gently ageing population, ageing population, old population and very old population.
