The paper deals with evaluation of the technical efficiency of inpatient care in hospitals using Data Envelopment Analysis Model for selected 18 funded organizations of regions. The selection of 18 funded organizations of regions is based on the analysisof the development of hospitals and beds in the Czech Republic and of the development of selected performance organizations´parameters during the period 2003 - 2012. The aim of this paper is to assess the level of technical efficiency and possibilitiesof its increasing in selected funded organizations of regions providing inpatient care based on selected input and output parameters during the period 2010 - 2012. The evaluation of technical efficiency is based on the results of the input-oriented DataEnvelopment Analysis model, which assumes the constant returns of scale.
