The time in which we live brings us many problems, surprises, discrepancies, paradoxes and challenges. We can notice the evident shrinking of firms. They get rid of the ?unnecessary? parts. They try to deal with the existential questions in different ways. Some of them still take advantage of their size, whereas some try to make use of their innovation potential to get through the critical period. Some of them significantly enhance. We are witnessing a paradoxical change of size, economic power and thestrength of entrepreneurial structures. On one hand large firms are becoming stronger and more dominant, they purposefully use the possibilities which provide with present findings of how to manage an enterprise, on the other hand small firms are forcedto agree with conditions given by the strong entrepreneurial subjects. The results they reach are getting closer. Small firms and micro firms significantly are losing competitiveness. Only a small number of them has a chance to make it to
