It is crucial to integrate PM into the organizational structures of companies. Vertical and horizontal organizational relationships often blend, when the worker is subordinate to the project and line manager. Bazsová and Křížová (2011) define organizational structure as: departmental, matrix, clean and network. Departmental model does not make demands on changes in the existing structure. It is suitable for the management and coordination of smaller projects. Matrix model arises in situations where existing linear structure is extended. It is used in cases where the organization runs several large projects simultaneously. Net PM employs a structure created purely for project purposes. Model of pure PM should be implemented in large-scale projects. Network PM is suitable for the realization of a large number of overlapping projects.
