Original language description
In post-Lisbon era, the European Union is undergoing a period when the number of countries pushing their interest in cooperation on the basis of a functioning internal market, while other member countries shall endeavour to complete a full economic union, through which would minimize the risk of financial instability. The new economic governance must reflect the different consequences of the economic crisis in member countries. Europe's future must lie in a pluralistic institutional arrangements, in which the different ideas about the future of European integration found its specific form. The existing governance, particularly the European Semester must pass the necessary renovations.
