Original language description
Quest for new investors embodies one of pivotal activities at both urban and regional levels. This concerns the Czech Republic, which can serve as a typical representative of post-transformation economy, with even higher intensity. Qualities offered to potential investors by individual towns and regions are strongly differentiated from both geographical and sector perspectives. The main objective of this article consists in the comparison of urban and regional attitudes and activities towards new investors in the Czech Republic. This comparison is important as the nature of towns and cities differs considerably from regions. Research, on which our paper leans upon, focused mainly on qualitative components of afore mentioned issue. We examined two hundred largest towns and cities and all self-governing regions in the country.
