In the Czech Republic, the creativity and climate/sustainability-related interest in science and technology education is mainly supported in the Framework of Educational Programme for Basic Education and in the Framework of Educational Programme for Secondary General Education through the following education areas: Mathematics and its application, Information and Communication Technologies, Human and Nature and Environmental education. In order to increase students' interest in pursuing Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) studies and careers, the issue is covered by various general strategic documents, notably the Strategy for Education Policy of the Czech Republic until 2020.
