Benefits of E-Auction: Real Users Evaluation
Original language description
Electronic auctions have become a common tool used in the field of procurement. They are used regardless of the type of organization and the nature of the markets. The problem we dealt with was how their real users evaluate the commonly mentioned advantages of e-auctions. We focus closely on the relationship between the experiences of e-auction implementers and their evaluation of the advantages. Potential differences were examined by the Jonckheere-Terpstra tests. The research is based on data from the survey. The results show that in most cases, the experience of the users does not influence the evaluation of the benefits. Statistical differences were confirmed only for financial savings in relation to the frequency of use of e-auctions and for simplicity of the tool in the case of the length of e-auctions using. The results can contribute to discussion related to the learning process of organizations among others.
