Recombinant protein and DNA vaccines derived from hsp60 Trichophyton mentagrophytes control the clinical course of trichophytosis in bovine species and guinea-pigs
Original language description
Heat shock proteins (hsp) were identified in many infectious agents asimmunodominant antigens with a protective effect. Immunization of laboratoryanimals by selected representants of hsp60, hsp70 and hsp90 isolated from severalpathogens induced protective host immunity and significantly reduced clinicalmanifestation of infection. The present study involves preparation of a recombinantprotein vaccine and a DNA vaccine. Both vaccines were derived from the hsp60 of thedermatophyte, Trichophyton mentagrophytes. Challenge trials with evaluation of theprotective effect of vaccination were performed on calves and guinea-pigs. Bothvaccination procedures reduced, in statistically significant fashion, the clinical courseof skin mycosis in calves experimentally inoculated with the dermatophyte,T. mentagrophytes. In experiments with guinea-pigs, increased protection was onlyseen with DNA vaccination. After DNA vaccine application, no paravaccination sideeffects(granulomas at the injection

Rekombinantní proteiny a DNA vakcíny derivované z hsp 60 Trichophyton mentagrophytes ovlivňují klinický průběh trichophytózy u krav a morčat
Czech description
Proteiny tepelného šoku (Heat Shock Proteins HSP) byly identifikovány u mnoha infekčních činitelů jako imunodominantní antigeny s ochranným účinkem. Imunizace laboratorních zvířat selektovanými zástupci hps60, hps70 a hps90 izolovanými z několika patogenů vyvolala imunitu hostitele a značným způsobem zredukovala klinický projev infekce. Současná studie zahrnuje přípravu vakcíny rekombinace proteinu a vakcíny DNA.
