Chinese "Tibetan Literature". Problems of Identity in Chinese Fiction by Authors of Tibetan Nationality.
Original language description
The article analyzes the means the Sinophone Tibetan authors of narrative short fiction in the 1980s use to express their belonging to Tibetan cultural identity in their literary works, which are to be seen as a part of dialogical discourse these writerslead with the contemporary Han Chinese representations of Tibet. The analysis helps to define a "Tibetan perspective" in opposition to a "Chinese perspective" of Tibet as they were represented in the Chinese-language "literature from Tibet" in the 1980s.
