The paper discusses the sources of angelology of Clement of Alexandria, presents survey of Clement´s angelological writings, outlines earlier scholarship on the topic, and explains all main Clement´s angelological doctrines: bodies of angels, Clement´s celestial hierarchy, the doctrine of seven first-created angels, the fall and redemption of angelic world, angelomorphic christology and pneumatology in Clement, and the role of angels in the spiritual ascent in the human soul.
