Contemporary trends in teen TV
Original language description
TV programming for teen audiences is considered to be less valuable than TV series for adults by TV critics and analysts up till now. However, from the point of TV industry it is one of the most important commodities these days. TV producers are namely trying to address so called generations X and Y, mostly the millennials, and very often they do use mainly TV series from a genre of so called teen drama. The paper introduces some of the contemporary trends that the genre of teen drama is working with nowadays so it would be able to attract young audiences.
