The paper provides an overview of the development of Dutch Studies in Prague, which is celebrating one hundred years of its existence in 2021. The situation in Prague, after the departure of Prof. Kalda for Bratislava, is briefly described in the first part. The second part focuses on the development of Dutch studies in the second half of the twentieth century. The third part is devoted to a description of the situation at the turn of the twenty-first century. The last part deals with Dutch Studies in Prague after 2015
