The article will focus on the state of the source base for the Union of Czechoslovak Composers,specifically the archival groups at the National Archives and the National Museum – CzechMuseum of Music, which were examined as part of the Grant Agency of the Czech Republic’sproject no. 21-19041S – Composers’ Unions and Cultural Policy in Socialist Countries in the1950s and 1960s. On this occasion, a catalogue of the local archival group Sp 7/2008 was alsocreated for the NM – CMH.
