Innovative Projects at the National Education Institute Slovenia (NEIS) are one of the most contemporary forms for improving the curriculum. Project work, which involves strategies of action research and the constructive learning and teaching model, is used to realize the pedagogical tradition. The value of an individual element can also be confirmed by the interesting and publicly approved Japanese theory Kaizen. The aim of Innovative Projects (IP) is to adjust the educational indicators for innovativeself-development. The professional workers have legal support for modifying the classes and other school activities (Regulation on educational development from 2003). Activities and the results of the project are contained in the annual work plan of theeducation organization and are presented on their web pages as well as on the National Education Institute Slovenias web page.
