A discussion about the life and legacy of Joe Mestenhauser in our lives, in academia, in international education, in Minnesota, in the Czech Republic, and beyond. Eva Janebová from Palacký University in Olomouc, Czech Republic, and Anne D'Angelo from the University of Minnesota will introduce a new book titled Mestenhauser and the Possibilities of International Education: Illuminating Pathways for Inquiry and Future Practice highlighting Prof. Mestenhauser’s work and academic approaches. We will follow up by discussing Joe’s larger impact, beyond academia, on the lives of people around the world.
